Shubham Jain

My research interests lie at the intersection of smart environments and cyber-physical systems (CPS), particularly in building software and architectural support for enabling large-scale analytics on pervasive sensing devices. My research has enabled ubiquitous devices to expand their role and innovate new services, ranging from large-scale video analytics to pedestrian safety. I am also interested in using wearable sensors for enabling low-cost scalable monitoring of health parameters.

My primary interest includes multi-model data association, reinforcement learning, graph neural network and deep learning. Currently, I am working on the human data association from various modalities problem.

Prior to my PhD journey, I obtained my master degree in the University of Colorado Boulder where I worked on Body Language for Robots project that uses intuitive body gestures to navigate indoor robots.

During my spare time I love photography.

Tanmay Srivastava

Tanmay is a fifth-year CS Ph.D. student at Stony Brook University. His work lies at the intersection of Ubiquitous Sensing and Wearable Systems. Tanmay received his Bachelor's in Instrumentation and Control. Currently, he is exploring novel and accessible HCI modalities.

Tanmay has previously worked with Dr. Nipun Batra as a Research fellow at IIT, Gandhinagar on ubiquitous lung health monitoring. In 2018, along with  Dr. Aakanksha Chowdhery, he developed AirCognizer an Android application for estimating Air Quality Index via smartphone camera images.
